Bracelets Disneyland With Name

A day under the sign of the butterfly

I told Gregory the metamorphosis of a butterfly when you looked at the book of " a caterpillar makes holes . As the images are not very realistic in this little book that Gregory still likes a lot, I had planned to make him a card game with sharp images and realistic metamorphosis.

It is perhaps a bit young to understand the whole, but I noticed that since we talked about the metamorphosis he now uses "and then. .. " in his sentences to explain a chain. He has not done this before and the use of "and ensuiiiiiiiite ..." is now in common use ... This allows him to better express themselves and tell me still more things such as what the tractor of his favorite book ... It is fascinating to observe small changes, new acquisitions ...
This small detail may seem trivial given the age of Gregory, but since he is bilingual, his "explosion" of language was made later than monolingual children, ie between summer and Christmas ... Since it is growing every day in the expression and articulation, I think is about right.

short, all that to say that the cards were finished Friday night, just in time for dad to make a "workshop" with his son during the weekend ... Moreover, in this regard, I found a great site with photos desbelles butterflies and metamorphosis: Photos butterflies ... it is actually this site that I found most of the pictures to my cards ...

For this workshop, I bought the book " butterflies " aimed at older children, but has Owls well detailed images. There are a lot of text, with lots of information (I learned many things about butterflies!) And dad told Gregory the life of a butterfly with simple words, without relying on the text in the book.

Gregory discovers a map depicting the life cycle of a butterfly from egg laying to adult butterfly. The maps were not aligned for lack of space on the table. A display in a circle would have been a good option ...

Gregory assigned to images the corresponding figure and looked carefully at how the butterfly develops ...

I had also prepared a lotto with species that can be found in France, but this activity has not been made by Gregory who felt that the study was sufficient for today! But I think when he sees "real" butterflies in a few months, he found an interest in this game.

Then comes the turn of the mom ... well, not right away, rather in the evening ... craft a butterfly! I found a template to print on the site head shape, and with Gregory were then started cutting ... each his own: I'm busy cutting out the butterfly and round and Gregory was with confetti falling ...

Gregory has not yet mastered the fine scissors, cut a line to run about, but for curves, zig-zags etc., it is still a bit early ... so it I who was busy cutting butterfly ...

After drawing the outline of the circles of different sizes using a small glass, and after cutting the mother, Gregory began to bond with all my heart ...

To throttle body, we made a roll of kitchen foil, ditto for the antennas.

And something very interesting to Gregory: cut a bamboo pole so we can stick the butterfly on it! Without saw a kitchen knife did the trick ... but still requires the help of mom ...

Gregory proudly planted all the butterfly in "his" flower ...

is our day butterfly ... good fun for everyone ... and Gregory was delighted ... He loves a long time these amazing little animals, has seen a lot and has even made one!
